This weekend is a three-day weekend! What are you going to do? Well, there are lots of events near Main Street Village luxury apartments in Irvine, Ca.

Just over 11 miles away, in the city of Orange, is the Orange International Street Fair. This festival has been going strong since 1973. This festival features 15 ethnic streets with 42 food and alcohol booths run by local non-profits, eight stages of entertainment with local bands playing ethnic music, a street for kids to craft and play games and a section for local artists selling their arts and crafts. Food booths will be selling American, Asian, Australia, Danish, Dutch, English, German, Greek, Japanese, Irish, Italian, Mexican, Polynesian and Swiss food.

About 4.5 miles away is the Great Labor Day Cruise in Costa Mesa. This festival, in its 34th year, attracts over 1400 vintage cars, classics and street rods. These American cars were built before 1978. The festival includes a model car contest, wild wagons display and you can cruise around in one of these cars in a 1.25 mile route. Over 100 vendors will be there selling automobile related items. You can even camp overnight at the OC Fairgrounds. Proceeds go to Warrior Foundation-Freedom Station, a non-profit organization that supports the military with support services, transitional housing and other needs.

Or maybe you would like to lounge by the pool at Main Street Village luxury apartments instead of going out. Whatever you decide to do, have a happy labor day weekend.
