Newport Beach is home to some of the most gorgeous beaches in the world – so many that we decided to put together a blog that highlights the best of them. If you don’t like sand in your clothes, move along – but for the rest of us, let’s dive in!

We’ll start at Corona del Mar State Beach. This is a hugely popular place for those who like swimming. Check out the half-mile long sandy beach that’s framed beautifully by the cliffs. One of the best features of this gorgeous beach is that you don’t have to look forever for parking and then walk a mile just to get to the beach. We love it and we think you will too.

Have you ever checked out Crystal Cove State Beach? There’s over three miles of waterfront at this beach which has feet on both sides of the city border at Laguna Beach and Newport Beach. When the tide is out you’ll want to check out the tide pools at the various rocky points of the beach. Use the bluff above which has pathways that allow you to walk from beach to beach. There are so many hiking and mountain biking trails here too so there’s really a lot on offer.

No list of the best beaches in Newport Beach would be complete without mentioning Balboa Island. This is a man-made place and you can access it by driving, walking, biking or the Balboa Island Ferry. Once there, check out the Island’s Marine Avenue which is their version of Rodeo Drive! It’s filled with bohemian coastal stores selling art and jewelry. You can also find some amazing restaurants there too.

So many beaches, so little time – so get out there and soak up the rays and feel the sand between your toes amidst the many beaches in Newport Beach.
