Work’s over so it’s time to kick back with friends over a drink at your favorite Happy Hour. We have so many great Happy Hours out here, we’re blessed – but which ones are the best Happy Hours in Costa Mesa? We thought you’d never ask!

We began our tour of the best Happy Hours in Costa Mesa at Kitsch Bar and loved it! Located at 891 Baker St. (you know, near Sherlock Holmes – not!), it has different events going on each night. Happy Hour here goes from 7-9pm and drinks are only $4 (note to time travellers from 1932: yes, that’s a month’s wages) (note to time travellers from 2020: yes, that’s pocket change!). We sampled an Old Fashioned and loved that the bartender used actual sugar cubes instead of syrup, etc. We also tried the Lavender Pisco Sour and loved it; tart, sweet and light!

Next up on our list of the best Happy Hours in Costa Mesa, we recommend the upscale Seasons 52 located in the South Coast Plaza at 3333 Bristol Street. Happy Hours here go Mon-Fri from 4-6:30pm and comes with various food dishes for $5, specialty cocktails for $8, select wines for $6 and regular cocktails for $6. You can also expect some live music! We sampled the Kona-crusted Lamb Chops which were perfection as well as the Grilled Chicken Yakitori Skewers with caramelized pineapple, slivered scallions and toasted sesame. Yum!!

Have you been to the Karl Strauss Brewing Company? If you’re looking for the best happy hours in Costa Mesa, you might want to! Located at 901 S .Coast Drive, this Gastropub’s Happy Hour – which runs Mon-Fri from 3-6pm includes $5 appetizers (including Beer Pretzels, Boneless Wings, Cauliflower Romesco, Spicy Hummus and Chili Lime Fries), Pints & Flights for $5, a house wine for $5 and “Shorty” Beers (9oz) for $3. We really enjoyed the place (and handy tip; avoid paying for the valet by parking in the parking structure nearby!). We definitely recommend the chili lime fries!

Wherever you decide to take your Happy Hour in Costa Mesa, please remember to drink responsibly. Have fun!
