So, now that the manly “holiday” is behind us, it’s time to think romantically. It’s time to think about Valentine’s Day. If you are a good cook, this is a piece of cake. Just invite your loved one over to your Main Street Village luxury apartment in Irvine for a romantic candlelight dinner and a bottle of champagne or wine and your set. If you are like me and are challenged in the kitchen, then perhaps finding a fine dining restaurant is a better idea.
Less than two miles away is Bistango, a new American cuisine restaurant in the Atrium Building. Ambiance is important to them and they feature revolving modern art exhibits and live music nightly. With over 400 varieties of wine, you are sure to find something you like with your steak, duck, lobster or other entrée. After dinner, stay and enjoy the band and dance with your sweetie. What is more romantic than dinner and dancing?
Even closer to home, just across the street is Andrei’s Conscious Cuisine & Cocktails. They have a Valentine’s Day three course dinner and wine and cocktail pairing options. This dinner even includes muffins for breakfast the next day. Main course choices are lamb, lobster tail, filet mignon, duck, scallops and vegetarian polenta. Cocktails are made with natural fruits, herbs and house-made mixes.
Remember, reservations for Valentine’s Day need to be made early, tables book fast. If you can’t find a reservation, hopefully your significant other knows his/her way around your kitchen at Main Street Village if you don’t.
