Museums fill up our community with culture and creativity. They make communities whole! We love suggesting local museums to our residents when they’re in need of new ideas for activities. We picked a few of our favorites nearby to share with you!

Irvine Museum

Maybe it’s living in California and seeing its common brown, but there’s something about greenery that is so beautiful to us. The Irvine Museum is the perfect place for nature- and art-lovers. Their current exhibit features landscape paintings and literature focusing on nature. The exhibit is designed to educate and illuminate with pleasing aesthetics. Stop by and view the exhibit this week, or view past exhibits on their website.

Museum of WOMAN

Get some culture! The Museum of WOMAN celebrates women’s roles throughout the ages. Their mission statement is “Advancing women’s leadership for peace, prosperity, and justice for all.” Who doesn’t love that? Celebrate the women in your life and plan a group-hang at the Museum of WOMAN.

Spirituality is the way you find meaning, hope, comfort, and inner peace in your life. Many people find spirituality through religion. Some people find it through music, art, or a connection with nature. Others find it in their values and principles. ✨ Body, mind, and spirit are connected. The health of any one of these elements seems to affect the others. Positive beliefs, comfort, and strength gained from religion, meditation, and prayer can contribute to well being. It may even promote healing. Improving your spiritual health may not cure an illness, but it may help you feel better. It also may prevent some health problems and help you cope better with illness, stress, or death. ✨ My interest in limpiezas, candle work, esotericism, religion, spirituality – is ultimately what lead me to science and medicine. It led me to a path of self healing, self realization & the passion to tell everybody about it. ✨ You could live through anything if magic made it. ✨ Through my quest I met wonderful healers like @theempresswearsthecrown who was able to educate me better on synchronicity, Goddess, & Akashic Records. I stumbled into the Goddess Temple of Orange County & through them & founder Ava Park was better educated in Goddess history and culture. I am glad to work with them and offer programs and opportunities for woman to teach and grow. • For all this madness to stop, woman needs to be acknowledged and respected as Goddess and every child on this planet is to be cared for and fed, or we will continue on the path of death and sickness. • Museum of Woman is opened all day today and tomorrow join us at the Goddess Temple of Orange County for Sunday Services 🌻 #pride

Irvine Historical Society

Learn about the history of our city! The Irvine Historical Society combines education and fun, as they have a regular History Happy Hour on select Sundays. They like to create an inclusive experience and welcome the community to bring their own historical items from home to share with the museum! We love that they inspire residents of Irvine to share our history and knowledge with each other. Bring something of your own and share it with them!
