With Halloween coming up fast, it’s time to get your home spookified and ready for a visit from the ghosts and ghouls of All Hallows Eve. Of course, no Halloween display is complete without the jolly grin of a Jack-o-Lantern, and for that, you need a prime pumpkin the perfect shape for carving. For that, you will want to go to one of Irvine’s many pumpkin patches and farms. Lucky for you, we’ve gathered our favorite ones into a convenient list for you. Here the best places for pumpkin party fun!

The Pumpkin Factory

The Pumpkin Factory is so much more than just pumpkins. With multiple locations around Orange County, visitors to the Pumpkin Factory can enjoy rides and games, pony rides and petting zoos, and more. Admission is free for all, so bring the whole family. They have food available as well, so you can make a whole day of it! The nearest location is in the massive parking lot of the Westminster Mall and they are open 7 days a week until Halloween.

Tanaka Farms

For those with littler kids, Tanaka Farms is a fantastic option. Enjoy free wagon rides on weekdays, games, and arts and crafts, as well as a fun corn maze! One of the highlights of Tanaka Farms is the pumpkin cannon, which launches a pumpkin hundreds of feet into the nearby hills! Parking on the weekends is tight, so you have to get a parking pass ahead of time on their website.

Johnson Brothers

The enormous Johnson Brothers Pumpkin Patch has everything you could want from a pumpkin patch. Autumn games, bouncy castles, rides, face painting, and of course, pumpkins! In addition to the classic pumpkins, Johnson Brothers also sells other Halloween decorating necessities like corn stalks, hay bales, scarecrows, and harvest wreaths.
