The Christmas Boat Parade (December 14-18) may be Newport’s Beach most famed tradition, dating back to 1908. The parade has been hailed as “one of the top ten holiday happenings in the nation” by the New York Times. You do not want to miss this spectacular display during the holidays!
Pet- Friendly Activities
Take your pup to the Costa Mesa Bark Park, a fenced, 2-acre off-leash dog park. You’ll find separate play areas for large and small dogs, as well as fresh water, plenty of grass and trees, and of course doggy cleanup bags. The park is open everyday except Wednesday from 6am-9pm.

Newport Beach is one of the world’s most renowned surfing capitals. The Wedge is without a doubt the areas top surf beach. The waves are supposedly some of the best around, but it’s recommended to visit during summer and fall to catch higher surf.
