MSV-Guide to Tustin CA

Nicknamed “The City of Trees,” Tustin, California is a gem of central Orange County, home to a rich history dating back centuries. With an Old Town district complete with historical buildings, Tustin is also known for it’s beautiful, green scenery. Located two miles from the John Wayne Airport and nearby the I-5, the city is easily accessible for a neighborly visit.


Visitors and locals alike are sure to enjoy a quality dining experience in Tustin, which has some of in Orange County’s most unique and delicious restaurants.

For an upscale meal head to The Winery, which serves up fine California fare in an exclusive, supper club atmosphere. You’ll enjoy their impressive menu, cozy, leather-bound booths, and live band. Turn your evening into a food tour, and stop by Cream Pan for a dessert to remember. This Japanese-French bakery makes a variety of light fare, pastries, and bread, but new-comers must try the strawberry croissant. (It’s divine.) Pizza-lovers should try Luna Rossa, and for fine Italian cuisine you’ll find Barolo Café to be a great choice. Juice It Up is also a local establishment specializing in raw juicers. Detoxers, rejoice!

Why leave your pooch at home when he can come to dinner, too? Fur-moms and dads will appreciate the many Tustin restaurants that welcome dogs, such as Freesoul Caffe, Citrus Cafe, Daphne’s, and Jalepeños.

Take your pup for walk at Citrus Ranch Park, a meticulously maintained park with amenities such as a walking trail, hilltop gazebo, lemon tree orchard, and picnic sites with BBQ’s.  Make sure to explore the park paths and trail around the lemon orchard!

We recommend that history lovers take a drive through Old Town Tustin, where you’ll find historical buildings and a glimpse into Orange County history.


Those who enjoy the outdoors will appreciate Tustin’s community parks. Some community favorites include Frontier Park, Columbus Tustin Park, and Tustin Sports Park. Most of these parks include sports facilities, restrooms, picnic & BBQ areas, as well as parking.  Talk about all-in-one!
