Living in Orange County, let’s face it: We pretty much live in Paradise.  With beautiful post-rain days upon us, now is the time to get out and enjoy Irvine and our surrounding areas, like Newport Beach. A haven for the famous, Newport is our own little corner of perfection, and ideal for a great day out. Read on to discover what we think would be make a perfect adventure outing in Newport Beach!

Morning

Start your day with a bike ride through Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve  or take in some yoga at Bliss Paddle Yoga. Once you are all energized for your day of discovery and adventure, do yourself a favor and get some AM fuel at Eat Chow or if a cold-pressed juice is more your thing, check out Green Element 365.

Afternoon

Looking for some new decor for your home, plants for the garden or maybe you need a bouquet of flowers for a party’s Host? Visit Roger’s Gardens and prepare to be amazed at the vast selection this local favorite has been offering for over three decades.  Are you wanting to have friends over and wish you had a new recipe to wow their socks off? Head to Sur La Table for a cooking class from one of their award winning Chefs.

Thinking it’s been awhile since you went out boating?! Pay a visit to Newport Beach Boat Rentals and rent a boat, pack a lunch, and take a gorgeous tour around the bay.  Have kids in tow, or perhaps you are one at heart? Drive on down to The Balboa Fun Zone and check out our very own “Coney Island” kind of fun!

Evening

Catch a beautiful sunset at Inspiration Point then have some of the best seafood (at a great price) at The Crab Cooker. Known for keeping their rates low due to everything served on paper plates and plastic utensils, don’t let their laid back vibes fool you: They catch most of their seafood literally outside their door and you can taste the freshness. If something more polished suits your needs, make a reservation at Fashion Island’s Fig and Olive.

For night time entertainment, take in a movie at the historic Lido Theatre then head over to The Aqua Lounge for dancing and a night cap.

And, this is just the beginning. Newport Beach has so much to offer, and only 10 miles from Main Street Village! Make sure to keep in-touch next time you plan a staycation to Newport on our on Facebook and Instagram.
