One of our favorite features here at Main Street Village is that we are pet friendly and love our four-legged residents. Once the weekend hits, we know how important it is to spend some quality time with your BFF. Lucky for them and their humans, Orange County is filled with excellent dog parks to take them out to play ball and make new friends. We decided to get the skinny on the Newport Beach Dog Park. Read on to discover what has our vote for next time you want to get out with Fido!

Apart of the 16-acre Civic Center Park, the Newport Beach Dog Park is a spacious haven for your pooch to frolic, play ball and make some new friends. One Yelp reviewer boasts, “I loved how clean and well maintained the park is! The dogs here are all very social and friendly and their owners are really nice as well. The park is spacious and not overcrowded, overall my pomeranian had a blast at this park, he didn’t want to leave! We will most likely become regulars.” while another adds, “It’s very well maintained, has separate areas for small dogs and big dogs, and of course water fountains. Our dog loves it here and so do we.”

A new perk added this year, the park also has a section of the nearby beach where you are now able to allow your dog to be off-leash and enjoy the water. Scenic views of the ocean surround you. Paradise for you AND your pup, no?!

The Civic Center Park also has a civic lawn for outdoor events, places for art, a restored wetlands, 1.23 miles of walking and viewing trails, a belvedere and other view opportunities.
