Farmers Market Guide

With the New Year right around the corner, we are hearing a lot of our residents and staff members mention that a resolution they have for 2017 is to eat more healthy. Lucky for us, Orange County and Irvine, especially, are crawling with an array of amazing Farmers Markets that it will make it a breeze to start creating those new recipes and eating a healthier diet!

SATURDAY

From 8am to 1pm (rain or shine!), OC Farm Bureau sets up shop at The Mariners Church (corner of Bonita Canyon & Turtle Ridge Road) parking lot with an array of fresh produce as well as several local OC designers who bring their trinkets and treats to the market.

SUNDAY

We love to grab a quick breakfast and head on over to City of Irvine’s Farmers Market afternoon at The Orange County Great Park. Best part? Just like us, they are pet-friendly! You can also get monthly health check up’s with their Clinic in the Park as well as get some advice for your home garden from the master gardeners on hand as well as Food and Garden talks.

TUESDAY

While this Tuesday market at Irvine Regional Park (1 Irvine Park Road) from 9am to 1pm is a bit on the small side compared to others, they certainly make the most of their space by always having an array of food that makes it easy enough to nearly do all of your grocery shopping.

WEDNESDAY

From 9am to 1pm on Wednesdays, head over to Irvine Kaiser Permanente

(6640 Alton Parkway) where The California Farmers Market Federation is on a mission to bring back the traditional relationship between consumers and farmers. Great place to grab your needs for dinner (and dessert, too!).

FRIDAY

Another great rain or shine Farmers Market goes down every Friday from 9am to 1pm at the Laguna Hills Mall Parking Lot (at the 5 Freeway and El Toro Road). Local farmers galore as this certified Farmers Market takes over the mall lot for all of your grocery needs, plus some nic-nacks along the way (and maybe a sample or 2!).
Not bad at all! Just another reason why we love to be apart of this community. Make sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for more local happenings and neighborhood tips.
