The best thing about my luxury apartment for rent in Irvine? The kitchen. The granite countertops. The energy efficient appliances? Swoon.
But the best way to maximize that gorgeous space? With local produce and proteins from Orange County’s thriving farmers’ markets. Every Tuesday, until 1:00 p.m., the OCFB Sponsored Certified Farmers’ Markets take up residence in Irvine Regional Park. You can find southern California’s freshest food to take home to stock your kitchen.
But for those sweet cravings, I’m partial to Manassero Farms. When their Irvine market is open for the season, at the corner of Jeffrey and Walnut, I’ll sweep in and buy jars of jams and marinades – and I’ll always leave with their famous strawberries.
(And when I don’t have time to make it to one of their farmers’ market locations, it’s handy that the Whole Foods near me – the Tustin Jamboree store – stocks their produce. I’m also really, really excited that Whole Foods is opening a store in March in Irvine, too.)
And of course, there’s southern California’s own Sprouts, a chain of locavore-oriented grocery stores that boasts an entire, glorious aisle of 30 different varieties of fresh drum-roasted coffees. Sprouts offers one of the most competitive price points in Orange County, with bulk grains and nuts that help me stay on budget when I’m trying to shop healthy and organic.
Southern California is full of stunning vistas and healthy spaces. Main Street Village offers both in its gorgeous luxury apartments for rent in Irvine.
But if you don’t believe me, take a tour, and check out that amazing kitchen.
